Egg Face Masks

You may be thinking “egg face mask, that sounds a little messy”, but they’re really not. I’m so used to having egg on my face. And that’s because the results are amazing. An egg face mask will leave the skin glowing and super soft. The benefits that both egg whites and egg yolks have when it comes to our skin, are quite miraculous.

Egg whites contain collagen, which is what we need to keep our skin young and to fight against aging. Egg white face masks have anti-aging properties, can tighten the skin and reduce excess oil. They can increase skin hydration, destroy acne causing bacteria and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Egg yolks are great for dry skin. They’re made up of mainly water and fats, making them great for being able to lock in moisture to the skin cells. The yolk is full of fatty acids which hydrate the epidermis and boost the radiance of your complexion. The nutrients in the yolk can hydrate and moisturise dull, dry skin.

Egg whites are good for tightening, egg yolks are good for moisturising!
